A Little More About Ms. Nem

Hi! I'm Ciang S. Nem. I'm a certified elementary educator with experience teaching children and adult English learners in both the United States and South Korea. I'm passionate about helping students become confident readers and believe every learner can succeed with the right instruction and support.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Oral Roberts University in 2020 and my Master of Education in Reading from Northeastern State University in 2022. My reading instruction is grounded in evidence-based practices, including UFLI Foundations, to help students build strong skills in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.

In addition to teaching elementary school students, I teach practical English to adults, helping them develop the language skills and confidence they need to communicate successfully in everyday life.

My goal is simple: to help every learner build the skills and confidence they need to succeed— whether they are learning to read or learning English.

VISION

To empower learners through strong literacy and academic foundations, helping children become confident readers and supporting adults in building the English skills they need to thrive.

“Let us remember: one book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world."‍
